Leon's journey into jewellery design began over 30 years ago, marked by unwavering passion and dedication. Starting as an apprentice at Hardy Brothers in Melbourne, he honed his skills for a decade before venturing to Tasmania and eventually settling in Townsville, where he spent 14 years crafting exquisite jewellery. In 2008, Leon and his family embraced a life change, relocating to the outback town of Winton, Queensland. There, he discovered the captivating beauty of Boulder Opals and established his own mine, finding solace and inspiration in its natural wonders.

Now residing in Ayr, Queensland, just 80 km south of Townsville, master craftsman Leon continues to practice his art, creating unique and timeless pieces.
